It's a strange thing. On Wednesday I voiced my frustration here and couldn't find my comment on Thursday. Thinking it had been removed, I posted again. Now this morning there they both are. If I jumped to a wrong conclusion, I'm sorry. If it was removed and restored - oh, well. Either way, thanks for letting me be honest.

Hi Katie,
As a devoted fan, I bought not only a ticket to the Ottawa concert, but airline reservations for a flight from Edmonton (a distance just more than London to Moscow). Yesterday I expressed my frustration here (rather innocuously, I thought) with being stuck with $600.00 worth of non-refundable airline tickets when the concert was canceled. My comment was pulled. I suppose I should have been delighted. Well, I'm sorry, but I wasn't. I think my willingness to spend that kind of money and travel that far to see you live (even though I think the album you are currently promoting falls far short of your usual level of quality) speaks to my loyalty. If only positive comments are permitted here, then this whole page amounts to nothing more than ego stroking, and is really pointless, since we all already know you're a great singer. All that being said, I do hope you recover from whatever kept you from travelling sooner than I will.

Katie,
The day I found out you were giving a show in Montreal next Sept.11th, I booked my tickets immediately for my wife and I . Unfortunately...........I may be in Beijing, China (counting 9 millions bicycles maybe .....).
If you can, have a little wink of an eye and tell my wife Jo-anne this song is special for her tonight as I am in Beijing....this would be lovely...
I had been waiting for so long to see you on stage............it would be so sad to realize i'm not here.
If plans change, I'll be wearing an official silk Beijing jacket.
You remain for my wife and I (both in the fifties...) the most wonderful voice we ever had the chance to hear. Your music is magic and removes all sadness.
