DVD release

The DVD "Katie Melua - On The Road Again" has been released on 4th of July 2005. The 2-Disc set contains the full concert at Croydon plus much more.

Katie on tour

After a short summer break Katie is on a short tour again starting in Hamburg, Germany on 1st of September to celebrate the release her album "Piece By Piece" and the single "Nine Million Bicycles" both to be released in September as well.

Katie's video Nine Million Bicycles, directed by Kevin (10cc) Godley has been released to the public.

The new single "Nine Million Bicycles" is available for download at APPLE ITunes. The three tracks can be downloaded seperately for £0.79p each. The whole single can be obtained for £2.37

Cycling to The Top

In the first week of it's release Katie's single "Nine Million Bicycles" entered the official BBC single charts at #5. This was the highest entry of any of Katie's single releases.

Piece By Piece is #1

Like the single - which was published the week before - the new album reached the top of the charts at an amazing #1. Katie and Dramatico are very grateful for this and would like to thank Katie's fans for their support and their great responses on the guestbook and forums.

Many thanks go to the fans of other countries too. The album reached number 2 in the week of it's release in Holland.

Katie nominated for 'Nordic Music Award'

Katie Melua has been nominated for the Nordic Music Award in the category "Best female artist international". Her competitors are Shakira, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani and Joss Stone. Danish, Norwegians and Swedish people can vote via SMS and phone. There will be a big show aired from Copenhagen on 29th of October 2005.

Dramatico announces next single

On 5th of December Dramatico Entertainment will release Katie Melua's next single. It is a Double-A-Single containing Katie Melua's self penned song "I Cried For You" and "Just Like Heaven" which is the title track of the film of the same name.

Katie receives award in Germany

Katie Melua received the "DVD Champion - Music Artist Award" yesterday for the release of her Double-DVD-Set "On The Road Again" . She was invited to a DVD Entertainment fair in Munich where she sang on the "DVD Night 2005" in front of 500 people from the business. It is the sixth time that the "DVD Champion Award" is given to outstanding artists or achievements on the German DVD scene.

Dramatico Entertainment Ltd. announces new tour

In January 2006 Katie Melua will start her new 16 dates headlining tour across the UK and Ireland.

Katie Melua receives first UK Award

On 13th of November 2005 Katie received the "Variety Club Award 2005" in the category "Recording Artist". The Variety Club Children's Charity was established by the members of The Variety Club of Great Britain in 1949, and has been working hard to improve the lives of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children ever since.

Fairy Tale Of New York

The Pogue's featuring Katie Melua have recorded a new version of their classic "Fairy Tale Of New York". The song will be presented on the John Ross show on 22nd of December. Additionally there will be an exclusive download available on 19th of December via iTunes UK. The costs of £0.79 will go into charity funds.
